The Pyhrn-Priel holiday region waters count among the trout regions, the Steyr river below the Klauser reservoir is designated an upper grayling region. The main fish in the running waters and the Klauser reservoir is the brook trout; you could also encounter rainbow trout and brook char. There are plenty of grayling and bullhead, in the Klauser reservoir there are also lake trout and lake char which have settled here successfully. In some waters it is possible to fish for carp, perch and whitefish. The crayfish also finds its perfect habitat in the reservoir, where there has been a project sponsered by the provincial government and the provincial fishing association since 19999.
