Rubbing Walks | 
| Rubbing stations have been set up at 15 historic, geologically or scenically interesting places in the Stoder Valley. Using a special chalk walkers can rub the motif from a brass plate into a little book. In this book there is background information regarding the individual rubbing places and plenty of space for rubbings. Directions and interesting information about the spot complete the book. This book, together with the appropriate chalk and a walking map where the sites are marked is available at a reduced price from the Tourist Offices in Hinterstoder and Vorderstoder. |  | Information:

Cheese Dairy Exhibition & Glass Painting Gallery at the Schlierbach Monastery | 
| The original convent was founded in the 14th century. It was taken over by the Cistercian order of monks from the Rein Monastery near Graz in 1620. At the end of the 17th century the north- Italian artistic family of Carlone constructed a building of unique architectural quality. Since 1924 the monks have produced cheese specialities behind the protective monastery walls. The glass painting workshop crafts windows and building elements out of glass according to designs by artists and architects. | This rafting tour is a special offer for nature lovers and families with kids. We depart from the basecamp at Gleinkersee and take an organised transfer to the rafting camp. Get into your equipment, follow some introductory training and off we go! After we have passed the first waves and rolls we get out the boat and take a short walk into a fascinating canyon. Then we continue to raft along the imposing northern walls of the Gesäuse Mountains and continue on for a further 5 km of gashing river. This unique adventure is accompanied by our experienced rafting guides and offers exciting moments to all our participants – young and old! Weather has no influence over rafting – you will get wet in any case and the neoprene suits will protect you against the cold. | | Information:
