The Austrian Ski Region of Pyhrn-Priel incorporates the two ski areas Höss (Hinterstoder) and Wurzeralm (Spital am Pyhrn). The family friendly and versatile ski areas are popular with both beginners and advanced skiers. A good infrastructure of slopes with pistes for all levels of difficulty, crosstrail, speed and carving tracks, rental shops and service directly in the ski area as well as the traditional gastronomy of the region are some of the advantages of this region!

Hinterstoder – best for winter sports
The ski area Hutterer Höss incorporates 40 km of pistes, 12 lifts up to 2.000 m altitude, a Sunny Kids Park, a Snow-Park and numerous downhill tracks for all levels of difficulty. The new world cup track, named after local downhill champion Hannes Trinkl is the latest sensation in the region with its total length of 3500 m, a maximum drop of 60 percent and a width of up to 80 m present a real challenge to top athletes of international ski sport and gives amateur skiers a glimpse of that word cup feeling. The stunning winter landscape, sociable huts and a Feng-Shui relaxation area ensure rest, relaxation and fun!

Wurzeralm – my winter world
Europe’s fastest cable car takes you up to 1.400m of altitude in only 7 minutes, where a ski paradise for beginners and advanced skiers, snowboarders, carvers and powder snow enthusiasts awaits you.
The highest point - the Frauenkar, is situated at 1.870m and offers stunning views to the surrounding mountain peaks and into the valley. About 20 km of pistes ensure variety and fun. Seven lifts, red and blue downhill tracks, a Sunny Kids Park for the youngsters offer all a skier could be looking for. The new Wurzeralm Arena also offers best service with a the ski rental and sports shop and the arena-meeting point.

Lifts are open from the beginning of December to the middle of April depending on snow conditions!
