Golf Course Windischgarsten Pyhrn-Priel

The Golfclub Windischgarsten Pyhrn-Priel features an 18-hole golf course, requires membership and a golfing licence and is equipped with all standard facilities like driving range with rain cover, pitch area and putting green, all for public access. The par 71 course is fully proficient for competitions and tournaments.

The golf course offers two very different 9 hole rounds, both starting at the club house. The rather far ranging holes 1 – 9 lead to the edge of the Edlbach valley in a north easterly direction. The slightly rising slopes are worth the panoramic views to the surrounding Tote Gebirge mountain range. Holes 10 – 18 are more compact and lead around the centrally located Edlbach mire landscape.

The location of the club house in the centre of the wide and sunny valley offer spectacular views over most of the golf course, especially from the restaurant terrace.

The charming variations during the game, from an easy valley set up with water features to the more demanding tracks along slopes with rock formations and stunning alpine panorama as well as a fair strategic overall design make this golf course to a truly unique golfing experience.
