Ski Area Wurzeralm Spital am Pyhrn –my winter world
The highest point, the Frauenkar peak, is situated at 1.870 m of altitude and offers spectacular views to the surrounding high alpine mountain range and into the valley. About 20 km of ski slopes ensure plenty of fun and diversity. Seven lifts, red and blue runs and two runs into the valley as well as the Sunny Kids Park for our ski stars of tomorrow offer all a skiers heart could wish for.
The lifts are open from the beginning of December to the middle of April depending on snow conditions!
Hiker’s Pasture Wurzeralm
Not only a ski but also a hiker’s paradise for young and old. Within a few minutes you reach the Wurzeralm situated at 1.400m of altitude to enjoy the newly CircularHikingPath „2 Million Years in 2 hours“, starting from the mountain station of the cable car and suitable for prams. Mountain freaks best make use of the Frauenkar cable car, taking you up to about 1.800 m of altitude to climb up to the surrounding peaks of the Warscheneck Massif.
