Poachers – wild rebells of the past
Also well known is the unique Poachers Museum St. Pankraz, where visitors are able to explore the history of those rebells in an original way. The exhibition was designed by cultural scientist Univ. Prof. Dr. Roland Girtler and gives insight into the „wild“ adventures of bygone days as well as the romanticized local films surrounding that topic.

Summer holiday
A popuar place for locals and visitors is the Elisabeth lake at the edge of St Pankraz within picturesque alpine surroundings. The lake is a favourite spot for swimmers and fishermen and also features a permanent camping place.

The unique poacher’s museum in St. Pankraz portrays the rise of poaching in the alpine region and the heavy punishments these „rebells“ had to expect.
