Boat Rental Reservoir Klaus

A trip to Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn and its reservoir is always worthwile!

Enjoy a boat ride with an electric boat along the idyllic reservoir or join a round trip on the floating alpine hut along wild romantic gorges and steep rock formations through a canyon like landscape (duration approx. 2 hours).
Take a sun bath on our lawn or take a hike around the lake (total walking time approx. 5 hours).

Kids of all ages are delighted about the large playground area. The newly renovated country inn offers great meals not only for day visitors after a lovely hike, swim or boat ride, but also caters for small festivals for up to 40 persons, both business and private.

Öffnungszeiten Opening times:
Boat rental daily from March to September on clear days
Floating Alpine Hut: 01 May to 15 September on Sundays and Public Holidays - Departure 14h00 (maximum load 50 persons / reservation possible).

Remember to bring rain protection in case of thundershowers!

Anreise How to get there:
by car:
A9 – Exit Klaus/P. or along the B138 towards Kirchdorf, village centre Klaus- cross over reservoir bridge, then keep right
by public transport:
with the Postbus (Route 430) to the bus stop Klaus a.d. Pyhrnbahn – walking time approx. 10 minutes
