Stummer Mill

The Stummer Mill is the last remaining farmers' mill with two water wheels and two grinding speeds in the Pyhrn-Priel region.

The mill is situated in Rossleithen above the scythe smith factory along the romantic path to the Piessling Spring. The mill was carefully and professionally restored in 1997 and is open to the public at certain times.

After visiting the mill enjoy a walk to the impressive natural spectacle of the Pießling Spring (about 20 min.) – the largest chalky fomation spring of Upper Austria. Watch a stream originating from a vertical wall!

Anreise How to get there:
by car:
A9 - Phyrn-Highway, Exit Roßleithen, along B138 about 300 m to Windischgarsten, turn off to your right to Roßleithen, about 5km
by public transport:
Riedler-Bus (Route 431) to bus stop Roßleithen Ort (village) – walking time about 20 min.
