Guided Tour of Windischgarsten - Heritage House

The Heimathaus museum was originally a manor-house belonging to wirepullers and scythesmiths, today it accommodates the museum. Wrought iron window baskets hark back to the heyday of the "Black Counts".
In addition to remarkable finds from Roman times, you can also view Objects from the peasant and bourgeois culture, Tools of wood servants and artisans on old classroom, a regional stone display and much more visit (average duration approx. 1 hour). On your cultural walk through the historic market of Windischgarsten you will receive a lot of information about the sights of the village and the Garstner valley.
