Chairlift Wurbauerkogel

The chair lift leads from the village centre of Windischgarsten on top of the Wurbauerkogel mountain. From here you can enjoy stunning panoramic views.
The mountain station Wurbauerkogel is the starting point of the summer tobogganing track as well many hikes into the Kalkalpen National Park region.

Öffnungszeiten Opening times:
17 May to 07 October 2012 – nonstop operation (operation may be stopped in bad weather conditions) in addition on clear days: 28 April/01 May, 05 /06 May, 12/13 May, 13 /14 Oct., 20./21. Okt., 26 -28 Oct.
Timetable:
May, June and 10 Sept. to 28 Oct. 2012: 10h00–16h30
July, August until up to 09 Sept. 2012: 09h30 –17h30

Anreise How to get there:
by car:
take the A9 Pyhrn-Highway to Exit Roßleiten, continue to the village centre of Windischgarsten, or via the B138 to Windischgarsten
by public transport:
take the ÖBB-Postbus (Route 430), Callbus-Rosenau (Route 435) or Riedler-Bus (Route 431) to bus stop Windischgarsten Kirchenplatz (church square) – walking time approx. 5 minutes
