Hike to the Pramfelderreith Alpine Hut

Starting point is the Flinder mill or Buglhof in Oberweng at Spital am Pyhrn.

A forest road leads slowly rising past the ski lift Hotz, the unmanaged houses „Unter- und Oberfahrenberg“ through a high forest to the Pramfelder Reith. The dairy maid Irmi and her husband Norbert manage this ideallic alpine hut from about the end of May to the end of September.

This is the only alpine pasture in our municipal area, with grazing milk cows throughout summer! The lovingly arranged flower decoration on and around the hut, as well as owner built playground equipment for young and old and organic farm products from make this hike worthwhile.
