From the mountain station of the cable car in Spital am Pyhrn folllow the signs along a gravel path, dropping slightly to the Teichlboden. At the huts of the Filzmoosalm pasture turn right and up a climb for a short period until you get to a gravel road, turn off just before the Stubwiesalm pasture and walk up over steep grassy terrain until you reach a plateau with mountain pines and continue along to the narrow peak ridge. From here turn right to the summit cross at the Stubwieswipfel (1786m).
