Circular Hiking Trail Jagahäusl - Ebenforstalm - Schaumbergalm

From the parking area Scheiblingau near Molln walk next to the riverr Krumme Steyrling to the Jagahäusl.

Continue up through the mountain forest until you reach the meadows of the Ebenforstalm (walking time to here about 1,5 hrs.). The trail leads further up to a saddle, then over a meadow to the edge of a forest below the Trämpl. Turn left onto a climb leading to the pastures of the Luchsboden plateau.

Alert hikers often spot chamoix, wood grouse and eagles along the rocky and steep climb to the summit cross. At the Alpstein enjoy the fabulous views over the extensive forest landscape of the Hintergebirge mountains with the Größtenberg as highest rise.

After the joys of reaching a summit, continue back over the Luchsboden plateau and turn onto the climb leading to the Trämpl. Descend via the newlx errected Schaumbergalm pasture. From here you can either take the forest road or the Salzträgersteig climb back to the Jägerhaus.
