Vorderstoder – Zellerhütte (alpine hut)

From the village centre of Vorderstoder a meadow path leads from the country inn Steinerwirt to the Schaffergut farm.

From the Schaffergut folllow along a gravel road, slightly rising, to a parking area until you get to the farmhouse Großgrub. Continue to the farm Binder.The trail now rises through a high forest to the material cable car (goods transport only) of the Zellerhütte alpine hut. The trail continues steeply uphills, later in many steep serpentines with parthly stunning views to the Priel mountain range to the alpine hut Zellerhütte (overnight possibility). From the terrace you can enjoy stunning views over the Windischgarstnertal valley and the Sensengebirge mountain range.

Return the same way or continue to hike onto the Warscheneck mountain and to the Wurzeralm pasture to Spital/Pyhrn.
