Picture rubs instead of hut stamps - unique in Austria!
Walking through the Stoder Valley, which is already an experience due to its attractive mountain scenery, there's also an additional attraction. At 15 cultural-historical, geological or scenically interesting places in the Stoder Valley, picture rub stations have been set up. With a special chalk walkers can rub the motives of brass plates into a little book. This book also contains background information about the individual picture rub stations and leaves plenty of space for rubbing in the special motives as souvenirs. Short descriptions of the walk and interesting facts about the resort are also included in the brochure. The brochure together with the special chalk and a walking map showing the stations can be purchased from the Tourist Offices in Hinterstoder and Vorderstoder at a cost of € 5,00.
